An ATG is a probe and console that measures the fuel level and temperature in each underground tank automatically.
The ATG gives daily inventory readings and can raise alarms, and many stations use it for leak detection records. Its readings should be compared with sales and deliveries; a gauge that is out of calibration can create false variances.
