Cash discount pricing means posting a lower price for cash than for cards, to pass some of the card processing cost on to the customer.
It is common on fuel, where margins are thin. Rules on how the prices must be posted and described differ by state and by card network, so check them before changing your signs. The books should still show card fees as an expense.
